While in Vancouver BC recently for a conference I got to jonesing for good vegan pizza. Not the “hold the cheese” super plain variety you get at the average pizzeria who doesn’t know what they are doing, but a truly well made pizza with Daiya or the like.
Luckily, I found Pizzeria Ludica.
As the name implies, Ludica isn’t just a pizzeria but a game room, offering a giant wall full of shelves of various board games, card games, strategy games, and the like.
Since I was traveling alone and time constrained, I didn’t take part in a group game (though apparently they have Sunday nights where folks looking to join a new game can do so) but rather sat at the bar. Good local beer, excellent pizza, and a nice atmosphere. They also have an outdoor patio, though it is essentially facing the cul-de-sac where people get dropped off and picked up.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Vancouver area – just steps from the Stadium/Chinatown Station and a short walk from BC Place or Rogers Arena.
