I guess I’m a bit behind in reporting this, since they opened back in April 2007, but Wagamama has a Boston location at Fanueil Hall! (There’s a map on their site, but basically they are at the east end of the main Quincy market building, where I believe a Rustic Kitchen used to be).

This is the first US location for the popular UK based company, which first opened in London in 1992. They will be opening at Harvard Square in August / September at 57 jfk street (which used to be Penang).

They have a great menu, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, and although they don’t mark the vegan options separate from the vegetarian ones – the descriptions are generally pretty clear and they will make changes as you request.

I’m glad to have one so close to work and hope they are very successful throughout the US.
