Grateful Dead, American Beauty, 1970 on Warner Bros.

This copy is from the Vinyl Me, Please Anthology (The Story Of The Grateful Dead) but I’ve been a huge fan of the album since I first heard it in the early eighties.

So many beautiful tunes here. I also love the psychedelic jam band version of the Dead but this is the more traditional tune oriented, harmony singing studio version.
