Originally released on Lizard King Records / The Control Group in 2004 – my copy is a more recent (2023) reissue on Island / UM^e, but the music remains the same.

Hot Fuss was Killers’ debut album and included the massive hits “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me” as well as the bonus track “Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll” which I love.

Killers write lyrics I simultaneously love and hate. The same band which later gave us “Are we human, or are we dancer?” gives us on this album “I got soul but I’m not a soldier.”
