Debut solo album from Klark Kent, a psuedonym for Stewart Copeland of The Police. Released on 10-inch vinyl but with a 12″ die-cut sleeve so that it fits alongside full-size LPs.
Not sure why the name is misspelled on the label as Klerk Kant—maybe copyright issues with the owners of Clark Kent aka Superman? But then it is correct on the cover and rear jacket.
I had a copy of “Don’t Care” on on the A&M compilation LP No Wave, but I don’t think I knew at the time it was Stewart Copeland. (Though I now have at least one Police live bootleg with them doing the song).
My copy—via Flip Over Records in Acton MA—is a 10″ with the die cut sleeve and a fair amount of scotch-tape repairs by an earlier owner.
