I first heard the title track of this album on a Paste Sampler from 2017 so was happy to find the LP (produced by Dave Cobb) at Dyno Records in Newburyport.

Bishop is from Austin TX (but may now be in Nashville?) and has been putting out solid material since 2002. Bonnie Raitt recorded a song by Bishop (Not Cause I Wanted To) that won a grammy in 2012

There are a lot of great songs on the album, though the title track still really stands out. She’s got a new album on the way in 2024.
