Donovan’s debut, this LP was titled “What’s Bin Did And What’s Bin Hid” in the UK (and it seems like everywhere outside the US), but “Catch The Wind” in the US . It came out a bit later here and the single was already on the charts, so they wanted the LP title to match. Mostly originals, with a cover of Woody Guthrie’s “Car Car” and Mick Softley’s “Goldwatch Blues.”
Though it came out on Pye records in the UK, the US version was on Hickory – a Nashville label founded by Roy Acuff and Fred Rose.
