Yazoo, You and Me Both, 1983 on Mute

I’d seen this cover for years and never realized what it is until a recent documentary I saw on YouTube – it’s two Dalmations fighting with each other. Way to signal the impending end of Yaz / Yazoo.

Such a critical and influential band to have only two full length albums (this one and Upstairs at Eric’s).

The US and Canadian versions had a track list different than the UK and European versions, with “State Farm” replacing “Happy People.”

My copy—via Kalóz Records in Budapest, Hungary—is a 1984 Yugoslavian pressing on ZKP RTVL labels, following the European track list. It was distributed by Sire Records in the US.
