Suzanne Vega, Days of Open Hand, 1990 on A&M

Third studio album from Vega, following the massive commercial success of Solitude Standing, recorded in 1989 and 1990 and released in April 1990 by A&M. Contributors include Shawn Colvin (backing vocals on three tracks) and Anton Sanko who also co-produced with Vega. Philip Glass arranged the strings on “Fifty-Fifty Chance.”

Certainly not as commercially successful as the previous album but a nice continued evolution of Vega’s songwriting and sound.

My copy—via Lemezkuckó in Budapest—is a Hungarian pressing on Gong labels.
