Jewel, Pieces Of You, 1995 on Atlantic

Jewel’s 1995 major label debut – this was on endless loop in the late 90s for my wife and I (grad school).

My copy is the 4 LP 25th Anniversary Edition issued by Craft Recordings which is very well-crafted package and pressing. (Some of the records had a slight warp common in roomier box sets but they play without impact).

Recorded partially at Inner Change coffeehouse in San Diego (now defunct) and partially at Neil Young’s Broken Arrow ranch (Redwood Digital).

Since I posted Go-Gos yesterday, worth noting Charlotte Caffey helped arrange some tracks and plays piano on Foolish Games.
