If I planned these posting further in advance (i’m just working through records as I add them to my collection), I would have planned this one for the 4th of July. The film Home of the Brave is a concert movie (see below) but the album is studio versions of songs from the film. There was also a music video for “Language is a Virus” using footage from the film.

Unfortunately Home of the Brave isn’t available on streaming or even DVD, but copies of it (like this one) do circulate on YouTube.

Guest musicians include Adrian Belew, Nile Rodgers, and Joy Askew with a spoken word sample from William S. Burrought, who appears in the film.
