The last in a series of records I was happy to pick up from the merch table at the Decemberists show in Boston earlier this year. Originally released in 2002 on Hush Records, then reissued in 2003 by Kill Rock Stars, then released on vinyl in 2005 by Jealous Butcher. My copy is a later pressing, maybe 2020, plated or maybe pressed at RTI (based on runouts). Mine didn’t include a digital download – maybe if you ordered it from the web store or via bandcamp you get such a thing?

“Leslie Anne Levine” is one of my favorite Decemberists songs, but really they are wonderful, as are the ilustrations by Carson Ellis.
