Back in the early part of the new millennium, Neil Young and Crazy Horse recorded a bunch of songs at Toast, a recording studio at 1340 Mission St. in San Francisco (pictured on the cover). The songs they recorded got shelved and not released until 2022. Volume 8 in the Neil Young Archive’s Special Release series.

My copy (via Electric Fetus in Minneapolis MN) is the 2xLP version, which has music on three sides and an etching of the iconic Crazy Horse logo (horse and rider) on side 4.

Great collection of Crazy Horse songs that could have come from any era. Further proof that some of the material Neil sits on is better than many bands will ever put out.
