Produced by Richard Bock, the “chieff panjandrum” of Pacific Jazz Enterprises. Three of the tracks feature an eleven-piece band, the rest a nine-piece.

My copy, via Worcester Record Riot, is a 1980s reissue from Spain (Emi-Odeon, S.A.). I don’t particularly search out European pressings, but a great way to get a near-mint copy of a 1957 release with a reproduction of the original artwork and liner notes.
