Seventh studio album from Portland Oregon’s The Decemberists. The album was a bit of a return to the band following a hiatus of a couple of years after The King is Dead.
So many great songs here, many of which get stuck in your head for weeks. My favorite is maybe a toss-up between “Carolina Low” and “Lake Song” but there are no bad songs here.
Even though they are a newer band (21st century really) they’ve become on of my favorite bands of all time.
This copy—via Residency Records in Salem MA—is a 2xLP with one side etched pressed at Rainbo. The inside gatefold works vertically, but depending on your device they may not be in the right order.
