Bourgeois Tagg, originally from Sacramento CA, is probably most well known for the song “I Don’t Mind At All” from 1987’s Yoyo, the album following this one. This was their debut, self-titled, and “Mutual Surrender” did get some play on college radio.

It is very much of its time, and suffers a bit from some mid-eighties overproduction – but the songwriting is pretty solid.

My copy—via Music Heals in Palm Springs CA—is an Allied pressing.
