These recordings were made at a private party in Glasgow Scotland in 1958, and released on JSP records in 1987 (a year after Sonny Terry passed). It can be hard to find, though it seems to now be on spotify: Sporting Life Blues. (John Stedman is listed as producer on the 2025 digital release, and JSP records was John Stedman Productions).

I think this is still the only vinyl edition that’s been released, though perhaps it’s due for a reissue.

My copy—via private sale—unfortunately has a pretty significant scratch across track A1, but otherwise sounds pretty good (remembering this is in essence a bootleg recorded to acetate more than half a century ago).
