Although it was originally released in 1974 on Red Lightnin’, my copy is a reissue from 1979 on Charly Records. Red Lightnin‘ is a blues label started in 1968; Charly a reissue label started in 1975; both are UK labels.

Not sure how this ended up in Mel’s Record Shop in Amesbury MA, but that’s where I found it. Added bonus: an autographed WBOS 92.9 bumper sticker from 1999 – maybe Brown played an American blues festival that summer?

Both Alligator and Rounder reissued his records ins the 80s, (re)introducing him to the American market after he did a lot of European touring in the 70s.
