The Clash’s fourth album, released in 1980 on CBS Records, distributed by Epic in the US. Sprawling, six-sided 3xLP collection that truly is all over the map, including a cover of Mose Allison’s “Look Here.” The FSLN catalog number on the labels is a nod to Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, the name of the Sandanistas in Spanish.
My copy is a UK import pressed at Aston Clinton – via Beverly Coin & Jewelry in Beverly MA. Though the slipcover/case had some nicks and scars, the vinyl’s in great shape – an unusual find given how popular The Clash are these days.
I love the custom inner sleeves here with lyrics and illustrations: The Armagideon Times no. 3. There’s enough to keep you busy here through listening to all three records.
