Yankee Hotel Foxtrot would be one of my desert island disks: so much wonderful, complex, hook-filled, and just plain fun music across that album. This released came out on Record Store Day 2023, compiling various versions (including live ones) of songs from the album, taking it’s title from “I Am Trying To Break Your Heart”: “Let’s undress just like cross-eyed strangers.”

I love the alternate version of “I’m the Man Who Loves You” but the live versions are good too.

My copy is the Record Store Day 2023 limited edition (I think it is the only vinyl edition so far) pressed at Record Industry with Chris Bellman lacquers.
