Northampton Massachusetts’ Speedy Ortiz put out Major Arcana as their debut record on Carpark in 2013.

It’s long been an indie darling, recorded and mixed by Justin Pizzoferrato (who had worked with Dinosaur Jr and Thurston Moore) at Stonelab in Easthampton MA. Pitchfork put it in their top 50 albums in 2013, and Stereogum number 31 in the same year.
