McPherson toured with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss on the Raise the Roof tour (we saw them in Boston). Great roots rock / Americana from New West Records.

As the name suggests this is a covers album, the material on which was originally released on two EPs: one in 2014 (The Warm Covers EP) on CD and digital, and one in 2022 (The Warm Covers EP Vol 2) which was digital only.

The track selection shows you some of the variety of influences on McPherson, from the Velvet Underground and Iggy Pop to Art Neville and Irma Thomas with Jimmy Hughes and Al Downing for good measure.
